The director is a freelance producer, writer, and production designer. This film is his debut film as director. Although an Electronics Engineer by profession, he also dabs into visual arts and crafts.
The director seeks to give light to the emotional turmoil of mothers whose sons/daughters are in the frontlines of armed conflicts, whether of the government or of the rebels, to an unnecessary war where only families are at loss in the death of a loved one. It takes inspiration to the saying that "No mother should have to bury a son. ” Stephen Adly Guirgis. It will also give light to the diaspora of people from the farflung areas, many due to the continuing struggle to improve the lives in the countryside affected by insurgency.
