Frøydis Fossli Moe is an award-winning filmmaker from Oslo, currently studying Directing Fiction at the National Film and Television School (NFTS). Her short documentary The Final Chapter was selected for The New York Times’ Op-Docs program and won the prestigious Best Norwegian Short Documentary award at the Bergen International Film Festival.
She also received Audience Awards for Best Norwegian Fiction Film at both Oslo Pix and Oslo Fusion for her feature film Fucking Countryside (Fuckings bygda), which is now available on NRK, Norway’s national broadcaster.
Frøydis's work has been showcased at esteemed festivals including Nordic Panorama, SFFILM, Aesthetica Film Festival, Göteborg Film Festival, BFI Future Film Festival, Full Frame Film Festival, and the Norwegian Short Film Festival.
Renowned for her compelling storytelling and nuanced direction, Frøydis continues to make a strong mark on the global cinema landscape and is currently developing her feature Becoming as part of NEO, the Norwegian Film Institute’s talent program for feature film directors.
