David Luu is an Australian (Melbourne) based filmmaker who graduated from Holmesglen (Glen Waverley)/University of Canberra studying a three year degree, Bachelor of Screen Production. He Directed, Produced and Edited ‘I’m Always Watching’ (2015) and Produced ‘Breathe’ (2015). David is bilingual, able to speak both English and Cantonese (also having a Vietnamese background, coming from both sides of the family). He has been in the film industry since 2012 working on many short films and various projects. David has the ability to work in different departments when working on multiple projects ie. Director, Producer, Runner, Production Assistant, Catering team and Editor. Other projects would include ‘Bright Moon Buddhist Society Temple’ (Documentary) (2014),‘Something Rotten in the State of Denmark’ (2017), ‘Park Office’ (2018), ‘Wing Chun The Story Behind The Legend’ (2018) and ‘Durga Chronicles of Devi’ (Web series) (2019). David’s role was either Production Assistant, Sound Recordist (Boom Operator) or both when working on these short films.
