Black festival banner

The Feedback Black Film Festival was created to showcase the most outstanding and most powerful Black films and screenplays from around the world today. It is designed to promote more films and stories on the reality of Black people from around the Globe. To show films and screenplays about Black realities or showcasing black actors.

We will perform a winning Black driven screenplay(s) at our festival every single month using professional actors. Then we send the writer a video of the performance reading.

Awards & Prizes

We will showcase a festival every other month using our flagship FEEDBACK Film Festival format. Right now because of the COVID-19 situation, we will be doing private and virtual festivals where the filmmaker will receive their audience feedback video. Then whenever the time is right we will go back to the regular cinema screenings in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City.

NOTE: Proceeds made from donations during the film festival will be given to 501(c)(3) nonprofit Black Lives Matter organizations.

Rules & Terms

Accept shorts and feature films. All submissions can receive full feedback on their film and obtain the committee's notes if their movie is not going to be screened at the festival.

All screenplays accepted in any genre or format as long their are Black driven stories and/or characters. Full feedback on all entries no matter what.
