Hi! My name is Kevin Williams, born in Jamaica and raised in New York City. I am an inspired actor/writer/comedian and now filmmaker. I reside in Los Angeles now, I recently created my two first true story short films, “Beautifully. Love. Dark.” & “Last Tonight”! It is my first time submitting to film festivals and, look forward to progressing towards success in this industry.
This project is very dear to me, for this is my true story based on a pivotal time in my life. This is also my debut as a writer, director, producer. It was challenging as a actor, to play older myself. With my AD, it worked out perfectly. I was asked to create this film, and in order to do so I would have tell its story fully through my eyes as a director and words as the writer. I decided after getting approval from dear friends involved to do this film, that I try my hand in the festival world. In my submission choices I was told by others with film festival experience, not to submit to just any festival, but those that this story would fit perfectly to debut from. For this I am honored for not only for the chance to get accepted, but the experience and opportunity to share this relatable part of my life.
