AJ (they/them) is a Toronto-based filmmaker. AJ is an impassioned writer/director who values tender and authentic storytelling, with a personal flare and a touch of charm. Their 2020 independent animation project Houseplant, was selected for the 10th annual Breakthroughs Film Festival and was featured in the 'In My Body' program. AJ's third directorial project, Yearbook Girls, was honoured as a nominee in the fiction category at York University's 2023 juried film showcase CineSiege.
