A Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Alum, Alix is British/Swiss Director with an all-consuming passion for action-fuelled films driven by practical effects & lethal sound design.

After completing work on her leech creature short SUCKER (2022 - FrightFest, Screamfest, FilmQuest), she co-directed her first feature film, toxic relationship body horror KILL YOUR LOVER, with creative partner in crime Keir Siewert. They run their production company Switchblade Cinema together under their collective name A/K.

Previously she co-created the London segment of Horror Anthology Feature ISOLATION (2021) with Keir Siewert, alongside Larry Fessenden and Dennie Gordon.

Other work includes successful shorts RETCH, DO NOT RESUSCITATE, TRUE VALUE and PORTRAIT, which screened at London Short Film Festival, Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and CineFantasy among others.
