Waking
Waking is a moving poem about interconnection. Love is the way we find comfort in a world that is falling apart. Through love, we deeply connect with others and with the natural world. The shift from a narrative of domination and accumulation to a narrative of respect occurs through a worldview that honors love above all else.
Waking is a moving poem dedicated to the lovers of eternity.

The persistent question at the center of Quin's artistic focus is, How can she create reunion where there is separation? The quest for an answer is her obsession. Quin's goal is to foster the profound entanglement necessary to the love story that is reunion.
Quin earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Inquiry, Interdisciplinary Arts from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Currently, she is a Doctoral student in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at CIIS where she is combining philosophical enquiry with artistic practice. She has exhibited work nationally and internationally in gallery settings and public forums, been an artist in residence in the U.S. and abroad, and has been a featured artist in print and web magazines globally. Her works reside in private and public permanent collections.
Waking is part of an evolving concept titled Entanglement: A Love Story concerning the lovers of eternity; divided by distance, united in love. She is Via Postel, veiled in her endless experience. He is The Wanderer, destined to live countless human rebirths. They live to converge. Their quest is to unite eye to eye. They roam this world and communicate their love for each other through poetry and art they refer to as “postcards”. These postcards are their progeny, their consolation. They are created in the form of fresco paintings, alternative photographic processes, moving image poetry, found poetry, and text as medium.
