Darkroom movie

Having just been awarded New York Theater District's 2018 World Film Fair Honor Achievement in Film & Television award, "Darkroom" star Phillip E. Walker (MFA) is one of Hollywood’s most prolific full-time professional actors.

As a Southside of Chicago born, Morgan Park High Best Actor graduate, former Loop City College Theatre President, 1st ever African American Loyola University of Chicago Theatre graduate, Illini Theatre MA and former Instructor in that Urbana, IL Department, this “Darkroom” producer and hands on marketer herein proposes to return home triumphantly through Chicagoland Shorts Vol. 5.

With 15 Awards from 60+ selections in 18 countries on 6 continents plus 14 United States and still counting, "Darkroom" was dubbed a Dysfunctional Family Thriller at its 70th Festival de Cannes 2017 Short Film Corner Worldwide Release.

Plot wise, PhilE plays the overbearing father who finds his teenage son has transformed the basement of their New York townhouse into an amateur darkroom. There the boy develops gruesome and voyeuristic images from his late-night crime scene photography.

Like he has done at a multitude of film festivals worldwide, Walker is prepared to personally support Chicagoland Shorts Vol. 5 Events not only with his presence while reconnecting with friends from his Midwestern roots, but to also present the Chicagoland Shorts Vol. 5 Films in Southern California at his new Solamonte Movie Theaters plus perhaps even encouraging some of his fellow film festival director collogues to present a Chicagoland Shorts Vol. 5 screening at their worldwide locations.

Since PhilE currently airs on local Network TV station affiliates Nationwide playing the lead comic in "Lew's Up First" http://LewUpFirst.com for Badamitv.com's "African American Short Films" TV series, if "Darkroom" is Officially Selected PhilE can even be encouraged to deliver his "Hollywood Actor Jobs" http://HollywoodActorJobs.com workshop at select Chicagoland Shorts Vol. 5 Events!
